The submicron CNC profile surface grinder “ULTRA-H612CNCII (2 axis CNC control) is an outstanding product created by the excellent and robust CHEVALIER R&D team through enduring endeavor, entire devotion, and wide experience. The submicron accuracy of ULTRA is of great benefi t to the area of high precision grinding. ULTRA will be a productivity booster which ensure success to your business.
The entire structure is cast from GB300 Meehanite cast iron, then is heat treated after rough machining. Fine machining is performed after three month aging to ensure optimum machine rigidity and stability.
All guideways are coated with Turcite-B which is lowfrictional and anti-abrasive, and are precisely hand scrapped to 20 points per square inch so as to achieve 50% contact rate as well as straightness of 0.00019” (0.005mm) in vertical direction and 0.00012” (0.003mm) in horizontal direction.
The assembly room is kept at 22°C±2°Cambient temperature so as to maintain machine accuracy.
Machine Features
• The spindle oil cooling device and hydraulic oil cooling system can minimize the effect of thermal deformation. An optical scale system(option) can be used for both Y axis(wheelhead elevation) and Z axis (saddle crossfeed) for pitch error compensation to promote grinding accuracy.
PC-Based control in association with user-friendly conversational function makes it easy to learn and to operate.
• The geometric modelling and structural analysis of the machine were carried out with the help of 3D computer software to ensure superior rigidity and extend longevity.
• Pyramid-shaped machine base 3 shows good stability.
• Extra long guideway design of spindle seat can offer high rigidity so as to overcome the cutting resistance.
• Table guideways are coated with Turcite-B low-friction material and are precisely hand scraped, providing high accuracy.
• Linear scale system is mounted on the column for pitch error compensation so as to ensure accuracy.
