Alloy Steel Plate
- Galvanized steel plate is a piece of metal that has been treated with additional chemical processes to protect it from the natural elements. Specifically, steel plateis bonded with zinc alloy at the molecular level to create a water-tight barrier that will last in some instances for the life of the metal.
- The steel gives the car frame its strength, while the fact that it is galvanized protects against corrosion. In addition, galvanized steel plate is sometimes used to make automobile bodies. This metal plate, along with the painted finish, helps delay rusting of the car’s body.
